Job Description :
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
Job Overview
The Market Maker creates and owns an execution plan to scale the qualified pipeline of large deals. The execution plan identifies the strategic value lead initiatives for engagement with our most important customers. The market maker uses their deep strategy and delivery experience to identify the right value led opportunities combined with industry knowledge to identifying potential customers. They are able to rigorously qualify pursuits that can be aggressively pursued by Oracle. The Market Maker has the execution discipline to co-ordinate senior Oracle stakeholders in order to building the necessary trust and confidence in the pursuit.
The Market maker operates with an entrepreneurial mindset, to re-think how Oracle can capture attention of key customers in major markets. The Market Maker has a network of trusted relationships in Big 4 consulting partners and C-Suite within our major markets in India (Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail ). They are also comfortable operating in ASIA and India Markets as needed. They have a commercial mindset, able to creatively construct value based deals
Oracle seeks an agile, high-energy, and passionate individual who can integrate seamlessly into a performance-based culture focused on customer engagement. They will form an integral part of the Strategic Customer engagement team and will complement the dedicated large deal solutioning engagement of the large deal pursuits (BSL), and take advantage of the marketing and design initiatives available (Experience Design). The market maker will bring fresh ideas based on past success in developing and implementing new formats of customer engagements, lead boardroom conversations with authority, coach & mentor Sales and Solution Engineering teams on the subject and changing market dynamics, and drive towards the successful outcome of exceeding revenue targets.

Job Responsibilities
Create and own an execution plan to scale the qualified pipeline of large deals.
Use knowledge of the India Market & Oracle strengths to identity potential market value, and create appropriate initiatives for scaled engagement wit h multiple existing and potential new customers.
Co-ordinate senior Oracle stakeholders (Country Sales & JAPAC Pillar Leads) in order to building the necessary trust and confidence in the pursuit.
Commercial acumen on building large deals, including all the necessarily elements of total value (License, Delivery, Operations, Learning) with a value lead , and outcome focused approach to delivery.
Build the structures and culture to ensure teams in the region are leveraging their combined strengths to drive success for Oracle and our customers
Coach Sales Teams on effective ways to address competitive traps and objection handling
Execution Discipline to identify leads, measure success and qualify to pursuits with a high degree of success.
Required Skills & Experience
> 15 years’ market experience in enterprise applications
>7 years’ progressive experience in IT consulting
>5 years in experience in Cloud, ideally in SaaS acquisition and implementation
Demonstrated experience leading change on complex programs resulting from new digital channels, social and adoption of mobile technologies across business and IT stakeholders
A strong understanding of the Cloud marketplace and Oracle’s Cloud offerings portfolio
Strong understanding of the sale and consumption of cloud services, as well as the role of a Solution Engineer in driving customer and sales success
Knowledge around key industries and domains
Knowledge around areas such as applications integration & customization, native cloud & mobile application development, hybrid cloud setups and variety of existing social platforms
Ability to articulate business value and benefits of variety of end user applications and carry persona based conversations. Credibility at all levels including lines of business and CXOs
Bachelor degree or equivalent; advanced degree highly desirable
Key Result Areas
Market analysis and segmentation in MRD (Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution) businesses
Development of high value use cases that clearly addresses market needs
Development of pitch document for CXO campaign
Qualification of leads and opportunities
Program management of campaigns
